Sweater Weather

With 2 kids its hard to even find an elastic band in the morning to tie my hair, let alone find the time to put on makeup and wear a cute outfit at any time of the day. Usually its sweats (cause I still can't fit into my cute yoga pants and sexy sports bras) and out the door to drop off Mase to school and run errands. Plus comfort and accessibility is key especially when you have to pull your boobs out every 5 minutes to feed the new born. But when I find the time to dress up I do make an effort and forget that I am a breastfeeding mama sometimes.

So what does that even mean...well this outfit and what happened on this day was the perfect example. I wore it feeling super cute until the moment baby Owen started to cry and I realized that it was time for a feeding. OMG WHAT THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSE TO DO??? I was out and was not about to pull my sweater dress all the way up and show the world my ass and back fat; not even my nursing poncho could cover that up. I start to panic and immediately identified myself as a bad mom. How am I starving my child for fashion?

But fashion never comes easy and as a fashion girl there is always a plan b. So I took Owen and ran straight into my car, got into the back seat and pulled my dress up all the way to access my boobs. We both sat there and breathed a sigh of relief as Owen got fed and I didn't have to flash everyone my fat ass. Thank g-d for tinted windows and an empty parking lot.
